SNOWSTAR
Since winter 2010/2011, the longest slope in the Beskydy Mountain has also been equipped with artificial snow facilities. The system was supplied by the Italian company Snowstar. Cooperation with its Slovak representation was great at all stages.
Construction, fine-tuning and putting the equipment into operation went fully according to the plan. Now the red slope has a fully automated system with a capacity of 250 m3 of water/hour, using 25 Snowstar Taurus snow bars.

The fully-automated system ensures the most effective method of snow production with only two operators, and all 25 bars can be started directly from a computer within 20 minutes.
In favourable weather conditions, the slope can be covered with snow in 3 to 3.5 days.
